Really excited for new blink. Seems they have been really taking their time with this one and having a blast. Just glad to see them so active and having so much fun again.

So, what's the holdup regarding new music? Obviously, we can no longer blame Tom for the massive delays in between records. Once Matt joined, it seemed like Travis and Mark were going to go full throttle since they're not getting any younger, as well as to make up for DeLoste time. In April/May, they said they were working on new music, but who knows.

 

Gonna go out on a limb and say that Travis’ injury might’ve slowed their roll although I’m more than happy to see them take time while making this new one. We just got 25 new blink songs in the past 3 years.

 

It's been less than two years since the last music they released...

 

Yeah I was going to say this. Album in 2016 and an album worth of material in 2017. This is an extremely normal length of time especially for a band that has been around as long as them.

 

I think we'll get a new album before summer next year, probably news about a single in the next couple of months.

 

Not like we haven’t seen them working on it for months now and they aren’t clearly on pace to release another album 2 years after their last. 1 if you count the deluxe What should they be doing releasing new albums every six months?

 

They also just tweeted about spending 14 hours in the studio in one day, amongst all the other tweets and Instagram posts about recording....
