Aside from watching my four-year-old open his Nintendo 2DS and games, my personal favorite moment from this morning was when he opened his Browns mini-replica helmet and knew exactly what it was and what team it represents (he often gets baseball and football confused). And also the genuine joy from realizing it wasn't for his dad.

Dad got me a Juju Jersey I’m really excited about it. It’s my first (authentic) jersey since Polamalu as a teenager

 

A table literally stiffed me and wrote 0.00 on the tip line, while I’m working for them on Christmas

The fuck is wrong with people, man? I literally have to pay 6 dollars to the bussers and bar as part of my tip share for that table. It COST me money to serve that table on Xmas.

 

People are terrible.

 

Cheap people shouldn't be allowed to go out to dinner.

 

Employers shouldn't be allowed to screw their workforce.

Man, the US perplexes me sometimes.

 

It’s not terrible considering tips outpace the vast majority of hourly jobs here, especially at a nice restaurant.

For me it was more so the principle, like of all days to tip zero, do you really not appreciate a server working on Christmas, so you can go out on a day that almost everyone is off work and 99% of places are closed? And it’s especially a slap in the face at a fine dining spot where people should expect to spend.

I made more than I expected to make so I was over it when I got my overall cash for the day haha
