lol makes sense. It honestly does kinda work like that though. You're sick and everyone's like "omg, what can i do, how can i help? You want me to grab you a drink from the fridge! Sure!!" and then as soon as you get the all clear it's like "fuck your healthy ass. Get up and get it yourself" haha

 

I remember when my Dad had to do radiation, it was probably one of the toughest things I had to deal with.

 

I've got some stories, they're not good but they're stories

 

Yeah. I was never pushy. I always said the iPad and iPhone AppleCares are really up to the trust in themselves to not damage, which some people had zero belief they could make it two years without doing something wrong. The MacBooks I always just said it was really your preference, but always told the (actually true) story of how my MacBook's processor just died right before finals in my freshman year and the local store went above and beyond to get it fixed and back to me within 48 hours for free due to my AppleCare. (I still assured them it was a really random happening and that they are the best laptop to choose, whether I worked there or not.)

Also, DAMN! I somehow missed this, but we're almost identical. I never really voice things out online, but I did the same thing over the last two years. I had brain cancer, had a craniotomy, went through radiation/chemo for six weeks and did pill-based chemo for 5 days out of every 28 days until May this year. The remission experience really is like that. haha

Damn dude! I had no idea. Congrats on getting to remission though! That's huge. My chemo schedule was super weird. It was over a 3 week period 1 week of 5 day, six hour sessions, week 2 of 15 mins and week 3 of 15 mins and then repeat. The long weeks SUUUUUUCKED haha.
