Yeah I'm hoping they fix it throughout the public beta period. I would not be excited for that kind of font size in the official release.

I love it. It's straight up fantastic on the 6S.

 

This is good news for me personally. If I'm able to adjust the fonts I'll be even happier. As long as it is functional I still won't abandon the service. It's too convenient to do that. I just hope that it doesn't look atrocious.

 

I think it looks so much better on almost every level. It's not Rdio good, but it's good.

 

I'm really hoping it's just an SE issue. I like quite a bit about it, I just don't like the font size being that large. I'm sure a lot can and will change in three months as well.

I do like the simpler UI as a whole.

 

I love the albums page. The focus on album art is a huge step up.

 

I also think it's kind of silly to complain about how something looks aesthetically on a 4" SE which no offense but isn't the standard anymore.


Can anyone who has seen it though confirm or deny the presence of a bad looking drop shadow on the album artwork though?

 

I understand where you are coming from, but its still an inconvenience if they sell a phone, and the UI looks like that on it.

I'd really love to know how the text looks on the 6/6S phones. I'm sure those phones are what they design intent is based off of, and that's fine, but I can still complain when it looks like that on their most recently released device.

 

When will the Apple Music update be available? Haven't had time to catch up with all the news from today.

 

Public beta will be out in July. Official launch will be mid-September.

 

My font size issue in Apple Music is a bug. Whoops, I definitely jumped the gun.

Font is still large though.

 

Very cool, Swift Playgrounds comes preinstalled on the iPad beta. Updated my iPad Air 1 tried a couple apps, and played with the playgrounds a little bit, things are a little slow but everything is working.

 

Are people able to play around with the new interface now? I'm still confused on what's going on with the font and why that is such a large topic of discussion.

 

The developer betas are out, so that's what everyone is using who has it now.

The font in Apple Music and News are large compared to what they Currently are. In some cases huge in comparison.

 

Posted a few screenshots here of Apple Music. Font is definitely a little too big for my liking. Although, the Recently Added page is perfectly fine.

 

Where was the Apple Music of Discover Weekly? Does it eventually show up in the For You tab?

 

I haven't seen it yet. Maybe I just need to listen exclusively on my iPad for like a week haha.

 

Design is how it works.

 

UI design has nothing to do with songs not playing, songs not downloading, songs being greyed out, iCloud music library not syncing from device to device properly, service being down for an extended time, etc.

my biggest problem is i can't download more than an album or two at at time without my phone just crashing, lol. and i have a 6S

 

I'll gladly welcome the design change, so long as the working function is addressed. If they thought the design was the issue, and didn't focus on fixing the under-the-hood service, then this was all for naught.

Only time will tell, but I'm hopeful.

 

Reset all settings or restore your phone should fix that software crash

 

I think I'm going to like all of these messaging gadgets a lot more. Gif search is cool and emojify is cool.
