I'm pretty strongly anti-meme and for some reason I can't get enough of the "ladies and gentlemen we got em" meme even though it's used so terribly

 

What do you have against memes?

 

Plug and play humor just ends up bad and predictable so often and I hate when people who are good at making memes are like "I should do comedy I'm so funny"

And I also hate how Twitter's become plug and play as a result of memes and been less enjoyable as a result

 

I agree. Memes are dumb as hell.

I am also a super serious person and my posting does not reflect myself as an individual.

 

For the record I don't hate when people post memes I just can't get into them and if someone tells me "did you see this meme" I almost never want to see it

 

"We got em", unexpected John Cena, and It Was Me Dio! are exceptions

 

See I think any type of humor can be used poorly and sometimes memes perfectly encapsulate moods

 

That's true! I think it just exhausts me. Like I go on twitter and I see 50 tweets and they're all the same new format "[before X was invented] 'I wish i had a way to Y' " or whatever

Part of me also feels like it's cheating? Like I don't think anyone who has a successful meme is cheating because they're the originators or whatever but if I think of something I feel like I'm cheating by using a generic format and that it's not worth sharing

 

I just accidentally dined and dashed because they brought the pizza to my table and I forgot I hadn't paid but I realized and went back thank god

 

One time I hit someone's car and didn't feel it/realize it till I went back to the parking lot and saw part of my bumper on the ground next to the guy's car

So I would've hit and run but happened to notice it and as a result am not a criminal

 

who knows how many times this has happened and you didn't notice though?

 

Normally I'm hitting people's cars on purpose so I notice it

 

It's definitely a race to go viral and have good content and I'm guilty of it at times, I don't steal content or anything like that obviously that's wrong

 

And you're really quick witted and on top of things so your stuff is always good too

 

this is more hilarious than you probably know because the Osama killing news came out during a big wrestling show, which featured John Cena in the main event. he took the mic after the match and gave a “We got em” speech and that’s how most of the people in the arena found out because people were focused on the show and not their phones. pretty much the most American thing to ever happen lmao

i know we got em is from the Saddam Hussein one but close enough

 

also John Cena won the match in question by throwing a large Indian man off of a forklift

 

I like the twitter memes and deep fried memes

 

I've rewatched most of Lost and loved it. Personally i'm not one to nitpick what a show could or could not have done, because it just can ruin any experience. I take it at face value and just enjoy. Idk. The people who don't look back fondly at Lost feel that way because of the final season. Season 5 was incredible.

I try not to find fault in the shows I like

if I really wanted to, I’m sure I could find flaws in all my favorite art but who the fuck wants to do that?

Exactly, I mean I get it, we are all wired differently, I wouldn't even be good at articulating critiques about a good show. Maybe because I've never even tried to. The people who bash the new Star Wars movies drive me insane.
