I mean I guess this is funny. But the Mets network, when you just traded for Cano, one of the most notoriously nonchalant players ever... Really? Lmao

 

I alway thought that that characteristic of Cano was misplaced, tbh. He was/is just so good that it looks nonchalant. He makes it look easy. His swing is so beautiful and easy looking. His fielding so effortless looking. He's a treasure to watch, but I don't think those should be negative.

 

Also, fuck Manny. I wouldn't want him on my team and wouldn't care about any insults going his way.

 

I mean it's just the running. It was always an underlying thing in NY, but never became too big an issue because he was obviously productive and a great hitter and fielder and missed hardly any games.

 

Ah, I see. I don't have any recollection of his base running, but I tend to block out complaints of home to 1st running, in general. It tends to be an old hats complaint.

I apologize. I've just always enjoyed Cano's game, and the critique of his play style has always irked me. But, I reckon you probably feel the same way.

 

At the risk of being disowned by the rest of the Cardinals fanbase (aka the worst of the old hats brigade), I thought Manny's "Johnny Hustle" comment was pretty fucking hilarious.

However, going out of your way to try to injure another player during the NLCS while running the bases is much less hilarious.
