so last night I mentioned my sister and I were going to a funeral today. this is what happened and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. i played sports and went to church with their older kids and that family was always really good to me and my sister. just genuinely good people. it fucking sucks.

there are a lot of details not in that article irt police accountability that I hope get reported on because the police department/sheriff’s office let something go that I believe could have avoided this outcome altogether.

sorry for the little rant. I’ve been having a tough time processing all of this.

Damn man, sorry to hear. I always see these types of things in the news and it just really put things in perspective. A day without a tragedy is really a blessing. The other siblings in that family, they will never be the same. So sad.
