I want the Bengals to go 0-16 every year and be allowed a consolation playoff berth each time just so they can continue losing in the first round

The league should require Cincy to scrimmage the AFC top seed during their playoff bye every year.

 

Late to the tanking part, but I hope Panthers lose because making the playoffs at 8-8 and then getting smashed does not excite me. And I’m not a bad fan. A higher draft pick and potentially a new coach could benefit the franchise more than a road playoff embarrassment.

see, this is the type of thing you might expect from the Steelers every once in awhile and literally any other opponent they may face, but the Bengals are the lone exception to this kinda stuff

They just smushed one of the best running games and defenses in the league, tossed them aside like they aren’t about to be a playoff team. Cowboys just beat the Saints and kept the game low scoring and they couldn’t do shit against the Colts

I think that was a big “Colts are actually a good well rounded team now” statement game. Before this year a team that’s tough on defense and in the trenches would have stomped on the Colts, Luck or not.

I disagree. I think Houston is the best team and could win on Hopkins / defense alone. And I also think since the Colts line and defense are no longer vulnerable, Luck actually has a shot at this playoff run and proving he’s still a scary QB you can’t count out.

 

Idk, I still don't like that their offense hinges on "is TY Hilton healthy" and "which of these underwhelming backs will do the best this week". Defensively they've still got holes too.

I wasn't talking about Houston or Indy there.

If Luck has TY though they can be dominant together.

And what do you mean underwhelming backs? Marlon Mack has solved their runningback problem.

Their defense proves it to me week after week tbh. Do I look at their defensive roster and think “that’s a lot of good players?” No but the coaching is getting something right because that front 7 has been TOUGH

 

I don’t hate the Colts or Texans, tbh, they’re fun teams this year and we were obviously not going to influence this division at all this year. They’re my favorite AFC teams in the hunt right now

He's a change of pace back. When he's on he's ON but when he's off he BAD. 139 yards last week. 33 the week before. 27 before that. I wouldn't say he's solved it all.

 

Texans are amazing and I love them as players and people and their fans.
Idk how you can not hate the Colts though. Jags have made two runs in their history where they've built these tremendous, versatile teams and we can't do dick because we don't have a QB and the Colts just happen to suck twice at the right time and boom, all their wishes are granted.
