Got my tickets for the Madison Square Garden show. $77 each for first row of the upper deck. Not bad for a show where I actually wanna see all 3 openers.

Pork and Beans literally is the best single. It was my jam in high school.

 

That’s a surprisingly specific SNL clip. Most of the audience was probably super confused (even had a Matt S. Reference!)

I guess that's what they thought would bring laughs; that you can get two Weezer heads or substitute that with any other niche/obscure interest and everyone else in a group is going to be like "what's going on?"

Even in the comments people didn't seem to see the point

The correct answer is that all their music is good and a natural progression even the bad songs

 

I love this even though I also am more in the middle of the two characters

 

I would be curious to see how much their streaming numbers increased in the couple of days following this skit.

 

Great skit. However Damon’s character failing to cite the 3 best late period records (White, EWBAITE, and Red)......he deserves to lose the argument.


Edit: I actually might like PD more than Red and EWBAITE.

I would not place “Red” anywhere near the best of the newer records. Also think EWBAITE is overrated. IMO there’s much better stuff on the surrounding albums
