Literally me right now.

Been catching up on console games and enjoying some Path of Exile

 

I miss playing FF XIV and it owning my life, but yeah it's nice to have options. I will prob go back to it in the summer when the new big expansion comes out.

 

8.1 just looks like more of the same garbage battle for Azeroth systems, maybe 8.2 will bring me back but the wow formula, after 12 years, may finally be running it’s course for me. Then again the more time I spend away the stronger the nostalgia gets and pulls me back so who knows lol

 

I was having a ton of fun with ESO for a second there but that ended up just making me play Skyrim again and then red dead 2 kind of reignited my deeper interest in games other than wow and elder scrolls

 

Florence is my favorite game of the year but I haven’t yet played Smash. I expect my top 5 to be Florence, Smash, AC Odyssey, Burnout HD and Spiderman.

 

question: never played an assassins creed game. do the older titles have any RPG mechanics (mostly leveling up!) or did that just come with Origins/Odyssey?

 

Tf is Florence?

 

Got a free trial for Monster Hunter World and looking into it. Anyone played it and able to advise if it's immersive or a pick-up-when-bored game?

An amazing mobile game

 

I can't honestly remember if there was equipment and gear changes/upgrades with like AC1-3 but they definitely did have that and leveling up in Black Flag/Syndicate. Though, the details and levels hold a lot more weight in Origins/Odyssey.

 

I already have like 20 games on my ps4 list I want to play lmao

Black Flag is great. I actually haven't even played an HD remaster version yet, but I would.

 

Just got far cry 4 and uncharted 4 for five bucks each at gamestop which should I play first

 

Uncharted and then return the other.

Definitely Uncharted first.

FC4 is pretty average but is semi enjoyable.

I loved Far Cry 3 but quickly put Far Cry 4 down, not sure why. That ubisoft formula I think

 

I’ve never played a far cry and I know 3 is the best but I’ve heard 4 is fine and so is 5 so I figured I’d start with 4 since it was so cheap, I do think I’ll have plenty of fun with it I’ve done lots of research

 

Far Cry 4 gets repetitive very fast

 

Yeah, I think I just played out the Ubi formula last gen with all the Assassin's Creed games. Climbing towers, surveying the map, etc., just couldn't do it anymore.

I do hear that the more recent games have been much better in terms of variety and design, including Far Cry 5.

 

FC4 is fine

 

farcry 4 is repetitive if you're familiar with the series. still really fun
