I don't even know what my favorite thing was since I don't remember anything remotely exciting. I remember a lot of underwhelming things though. I guess I'd go for the 3D Touch shortcuts on lock screen for favorite and the later half of the iOS presentation as the worst, especially that horrendous Apple Music design.

 

I was really hoping for new MBP today, guess I'll have to go with the current model.

 

Watch OS stuff looks really awesome. Can't wait for it.

Devs are reporting that stock apps can be deleted.

 

FINALLY.

 

I'm happy knowing they are giving the user more control over what is or isn't on their device.

 

Now if they could put the option to change default apps, that would be great!

 

I wonder what will happen when I click on an email address in safari. I will delete the mail app and use Spark only, so will it default to that?

I would think it would have to.

 

the apple music "redesign" doesn't matter as long as the actual product WORKS better. don't care how it looks, just want the syncing to work better without fucking everything up as it has been

I agree. I never really thought design was the problem. It just needs to work.

That said, I'm kind of bummed they did a major UI overhaul on it.

 

I would imagine they have to if you can delete the default apps. Gonna install the develops beta and check it out if it doesn't wipe my phone to do so

 

as i said in my edit above, i'm hoping that the fact that they even did a UI overhaul means they did some internal work as well. means they at least put some time into it

I care about both to be honest.

I don't use Spotify because despite it working i don't like how it looks.

I hope the apple music redesign makes it usable on Android...

 

They could be saving the dark mode feature on the iOS 10 for when they unveil the new phone in September

 

Favorite things were tvOS and macOS. Least favorite were the stickers and huge emojis.

 

I've always thought emoji's should be bigger than they are.

 

I'm sure I'll eventually get used to the emojis and stickers but as of now I'm indifferent. Sling tv on Apple tv might convince me to start using the service.

Same. I've been holding out until an Apple TV app became available and it did so I'm going to give it a shot.

 

Is the text box always going to be smaller now in iMessage? I noticed it was practically half the size in the keynote and I'm not sure I like that.

 

apparently you can remove the contacts app? is their other contacts apps to use?
