So excited for the holiday show that I I'm working on my cardio hard for the next two weeks to prepare.
I got specific glasses fully ready to lose them, too.

 

seeing ETID for the first time this week. very excited

 

Oh man, you're in for a hell of a show.

 

For those making the trip for the holiday show, Friday night ETID will be at a restaurant called Allen Burger Venture for their beer release. The one venue is also doing live band emo karaoke with James Dewees hosting that night.

 

ABV also has friggin good burgers

 

Great food and beer always. I’m a sucker for their giant onion rings.

 

Apparently Ratboy is playing drums in the karaoke band too. What a town

 

What’s that date?

 

Yeah he usually does it for the emo/pop punk ones! It’s so fun.

12/14. I think they’re at ABV around 6 and karaoke starts around 10.

Just got home from seeing them for the first time. Goddamn I love this band.

 

Are the guys cool with Ratboy nowadays?

 

He was on Andys podcast not too long ago and they were talking about going to movies and stuff, so at least they are cool

 

At the time Legs joined I remember Jordan or Leith were pretty open about the fact they didn’t like Ratboy, but time and circumstances could have changed since then.

Andy comes off as just a giant teddy bear that does a good job of maintaining friendships. That came across on the podcast with Ratboy as it just sounded like childhood friends talking about funny stuff.

 

Not sure if this was every explicitly stated, so apologies if I’m inferring incorrectly, but it seemed to me that Ratboy had some social anxiety issues that made touring and band life in general tough. Didn’t feel to me like a personality or creativity conflict, just that it takes a (very) rare breed to keep up with this band.

 

He played with them at a holiday show fairly recently didn’t he? Like in the last year or 2 or am I totally making that up?

 

This weekend is gonna be so much fun. I’m gonna spend so much money.

 

I'm sad I missed the RVA show I had tickets for on Sunday because of the snow, but I'm happy I didn't get hurt or damage my car trying to navigate there...so there's a silver lining in ditching an ETID show, I guess?

 

Best not to add to the eighteen hundred miles of skeletons on the interstate.

Yo Pittsburgh was lit tonight. Probably the best time ive ever seen ETID, until probably Saturday.

 

Yeah the whole show in Pitt was really good last night. The crowd was super into it and not annoying, which was tight. Ready to rumble on Saturday!
