How long did Microsoft spend on the background music? If it was only a sentence, then its inclusion is a nonissue

 

I don't think they did which is the worst thing about it for me. We Happy Few was completely new for me though although it seems a lot of people knew about it already.

I hope Sony has some new stuff, last year Horizon was one of my favorite parts of e3 because it was new and substantial.

Yeah like there were a number of GREAT games shown in their conference but nothing new and exciting to me and nothing jumped at me and said "YOU NEED TO BUY AN XBOX" even though I've been contemplating it for the last two weeks. The opposite actually happened. I will definitely be holding off doing so either for Scorpio or just take advantage of PC.

 

If HD remasters of the first two Shenmue titles get announced at Sony's event, I just may shed some tears of joy.

 

The social features Xbox is adding is still cool. I would love a LFG function on PS4, but I'm glad I'll be able to use it for some Xbox games.

Surprised that there wasn't any new Crackdown 3 info.

 

The new Horizon trailer would have been cool in Sony's conference if they hadn't already put it out there. I really hope its not in there anyway.

 

Sony has done a good job in the last couple years so Im expecting similar quality this time.

Honestly, most excited about all the Zelda coverage tomorrow.

 

My thinking might be totally off on this but I don't think Microsoft is in a good place to announce IPs. It seems like generally when you announce a new IP, it is usually a few years away. We already know that they are way behind PS in this life cycle. It seems like it was best for them to just show what was currently planned for the X1 in hoping people pick up consoles now instead of waiting for these new IPs a few years down.

Sony probably has the luxury to show off new IPs because they are the leader in the market currently and I can't see Microsoft having a huge turn around anytime soon.

 

It builds hype for the platform no matter who has had it on their console previously or not. Also they talked about it for literally 15 seconds; nobody should be salty.

 

It is definitely going to be. Maybe more gameplay?

 

Yeah, where was Crackdown 3? Figured we'd hear more about it by now.

 

Overwatch skewed towards an anime vibe, haha.

 

I was hoping they put it out because they have more stuff for the show but now I'm worried about it. I just don't get why they'd release it a week early and then put it in their press conference?

 

Does it even have a release date? I'd hope that would be one of the ones they talk about at Gamescom.

 

They don't have the developers either. All their internal studios are focused on lynch pin titles with no room for expansion outside of those universes so they need 3rd party exclusives (or marketing) and their market position puts that at a huge disadvantage.

 

They just released a statement. Coming in 2017,nothing more substantial.

Figured they'd close with Crackdown 3 like they did last year, surprised it wasn't mentioned at all, maybe they are makred for a 2018 release atm.

Oh didn't see that statement, then yeah I expect something at GamesCon.

 

At least they had Scalebound, Sea of Thieves and Recore last year.

Seriously lmao. I'm paying for Xbox live, I'm very happy about this.

 

Does Cuphead even have a date yet?

No one is salty about it, I'm apathetic towards it, was brought up as something to be excited for in the thread and I disagreed with that.

 

2 was a mess but I'm sure they know about that, loved the first game in the series so I'm interested in seeing actual gameplay at some point before I get too excited.

 

Is it a FPS?

 

Third person shooter, kind of like a superhero GTA kind of deal.
