So much about this is right and wrong. Yes, I talk a lot about LOTR when I’m drunk. YES, Fellowship is the best of the three, but to say it’s the only one you need is fucking stupid. @Connor is fucking stupid. Also, LJ and Kevo, go watch the whole trilogy you idiots.

Look i LOVE all three... but both Two Towers and ROTK have some incredibly stupid things

 

The Hobbit an Unexpected Journey > Fellowship of the Rings
The Desolation of Smaug > The Two Towers
The Battle of the Five Armies > The Return of the King

 

Ok, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t see them. It’s a great story as a whole even if those two have hiccups, which I agree.

it takes me and my wife like 3 days to watch like a 2 hour movie, this would take me like a month.

 

I don’t know if I’ve ever been more disappointed in a movie than I was with the Hobbit.

Haha I'm actually on your side. LOTR is fantastic, all 3. I even liked the first two Hobbit movies. I don't post any bad takes about music though.

The way I introduced them to my wife was doing the extended editions and just watching an hour a night. That way it makes it like just watching an hour of a tv show every night instead of sitting through a full long movie.
