Thank goodness my friends would not be using this type of stuff lol

 

I don't mind stickers, I just hate people who abuse of them.

 

I feel like there's still many actual product enhancements that could've been made with the time that was spent on all that unnecessary fluff. The new messages app really does remind me of Facebook Messenger... and not in a good way.

 

This is all annoying and dumb

 

I know we say this every year, but the last half of this presentation has been...
Apple Maps, now more like Google Maps
Apple Music, now more like Spotify
Apple Photos, now more like Google Photos
iMessage, now more like facebook messenger

 

honestly hate all of these updates to messages

Except that outside of Maps, they took all the worst elements of those apps and ramped them up to 11

 

looks like i'll be keeping my iphone 6 and never updated os again.

 

This is awful

 

This started out so promising with macOS and the new look of iOS10 and then it went all downhill from there.

 

I'm so bored by this right now

 

so much irony in opening up more and more for dev's yet they waste time trying to ingest what's popular to build into their own apps while making it look worse and bogging down the platform.

 

So weird that Apple has always been about just making things function properly and leaving all of the "frill" and unnecessary stuff out.

Then they give us bubble effects and stickers. Meanwhile, my eyes could use some relief with a dark mode.

After that messages presentation maybe everyone should switch to Telegram haha. Telegram – a new era of messaging
I've really liked the look of this app but no one I know uses it. I only have it to follow MacStories behind the scenes.

 

My snap reaction: This is the first time I've actually started to question the direction this company wants to go in.
