Gotta love seeing players like Parkhurst and Larentowitz winning a trophy after such long careers. Especially Parkhurst after losing four other finals.

I was thinking this when it was on MOTD last night. I can't figure out what the defender is meant to do wrong. He pulls out of a tackle and Rashford collides with him. Rashford reacts quite badly to it, but I'm not sure what the defender is meant to have done. Is he just meant to clear the way for the oncoming red player?

Oddly, they didn't really discuss it on MOTD either, so maybe there's something in it that I've missed, but it seemed a really bizarre red.

 

It was an absolute joke of a red card. I honestly couldn't tell you. Anguissa won the ball and seemed to fall on Rashford. I can kinda see why Rashford reacted as he wouldn't have known what happened but the ref was way too fast flashing a yellow. It wasn't even a foul, I would have given Fulham the free kick actually.
