Figured it out, the solo in Honeycomb reminds me so much of Fang Island. I miss Fang Island

 

The first five times I heard Glint: yeah it's good but definitely one of the weaker dfhvn songs
Now: The part where he says "crawl" and the guitar explodes is everything ever

 

There’s one or two songs on every album where they’ll stop and Kerry’s guitar will ring out and they’ll transition into a different part and all come in together and it’s always bad ass as fuck.

 

this is a wonderful fall record

 

incredibly excited to see them with DIIV on Halloween

 

Wish so badly that that tour was coming here. Brilliant pairing and DIIV is so good live

 

I may pull the trigger on that show, I can walk to the venue

 

Just got my ticket to Portsmouth Thursday

Have you been to the venue before?

 

I’ve been to a handful of shows there, I love it. It’s great to not have to drive to Boston and pay for parking.

 

Have tickets to see them tonight. Excited not to skip out this time. lol

Uh so I had no idea the venue I saw them in tonight is currently like decked out with a light/art installation. So it looked like this the whole time with the lights changing:



It was insanely good.

 

That’s TIGHT.

 

Also if anyone is seeing them anytime soon if you could grab me the sunflower long sleeve shirt in a small I will gladly pay you back + shipping + a little extra for your trouble. They only had large when i saw them.

 

I can attest that it is an awesome shirt, get a lot of compliments on it, especially from older ladies who think it's pretty

After liking/not loving this record as immediately as their others, it's grown on me quite a bit since I picked up the vinyl and seeing some of the new songs live last night pretty much made the the whole thing click with me. This band is so special.

 

I lost my mind when they played "Brought to the Water," especially because Kerry played a Radiohead riff during the intro lol. And George handed out the mic for the end of "Dream House," which was an incredible way to end the show

 

Definitely! I’m going to mom jeans, Antarctigo Vespucci, menzingers, and cloud nothings all in the next month lol.

 

They’re coming to Australia and New Zealand in February 2019! I can’t wait!

 

december is the month of revisiting, and today is the day for deafheaven. this is still sooo gooood. honeycomb is one of their top 3 songs.
