Well that is true, but we aren't voting on non Thursday songs. That's like saying my votes shouldn't count because I'd also vote Metallica's Ride the Lightning and Thrice's For Miles over any Thursday song.

Just so there’s no confusion, we’re voting for THURSDAY songs in these rounds. Any covers by other lesser artists are not part of this.

 

I'm not saying your votes shouldn't count, just saying that your statements on these songs is ....questionable at best.

 

Fair enough. Didn't think the cover song would be so divisive, esp since they rule. I remember back on AP when that EP made the front page everyone had good things to say about it but I found the collection of peeps who don't like it. To each their own.

Understanding In a Car Crash

Seems like the obvious winner but also, I think, the correct one. It's a great song in its own right and I have such a strong emotional connection to it (and, later, The Movielife's "Jamestown" and Thrice's "The Artist In the Ambulance") from a car accident I was in back in November 2001 when I was in college and really getting into this music.

honestly thought I was going with Cross out the Eyes, but now I'm leaning towards Crash. Really though either one can win and I'd be 100% fine with it.
