all those sixteenth notes. like I don't think you can hear it at all on the album version but the snare is EVERYWHERE in how he plays it live

 

Sort of related, but I love the guitar riff that Adam adds in after "That's what she said" when they play it live.

 

this is only up to the break before the last chorus but holy fucking shit this is nice playing

 

I hate it when y’all sleep for george is an incredible drummer and you’re unaware of it

 

he's all over the new album too, just in different ways than he's been before

plus he, y'know, produced the fucking thing along with Matty

Is it just me or was Matty annoyed for most of that show?

 

I only caught parts of that show because I'm at work, but he seemed... off.

 

He was constantly concerned about there being no barrier at the front, telling the crowd several times to take steps back between songs. He wasn't quite into this show as he was that first show a couple of days ago, but he still seemed to be into it

Listening to all three albums over and still can’t get over the EPs. So jealous of everyone seeing them on the upcoming tour. If I’d have known I would still be in bloody England I would’ve gone.

In other news, Crash Team Racing is being remastered so hell fucking yeah.

Anyway back on topic. Have a splendid 1975 night guys and girls!

 

The video for It's Not Living is basically perfection. I love the concept and my favourite part is definitely when Matty has that look of sadness/guilt when he sees "clean" Matty in the Sincerity video because when I first saw the Sincerity video I was like "wow, he looks so much healthier" and its almost like that moment is echoed in the new video. Really cool.

Band can honestly do no wrong right now and sounds silly, but I'm proud of how much awareness a great modern band is bringing to addiction/mental health
