No way, Winston floor is super low. Could be a shootout but could also end up being a Carson wentz game where they fall so far behind they have to keep trying to make a miracle work, and we’ve seen Winston throw quite a few picks in games like that. rivers has a great matchup.

 

I'm struggling to start Dion Lewis as my flex for the playoffs. I have Landry, Doug Martin and Larry Fitzgerald. Are those guys better options?

Missed out on the bye because I traded for Cam Newton a couple weeks ago. If I would've started Rivers this week, I'd have gotten the bye.

So, it's really tight in my league and I needed certain scenarios to happen to make the playoffs. There are a bunch of 7-5 teams and 6-6 teams. I am 6-6. Most of the 7-5 teams lost, but have me on tie breakers because they have more points than me.

All I needed last night was 2 more points towards the end of the game from either Conner or Rivers and I would have officially more points than one of 7-6 teams and of course I couldn't get them because Conner went out with the injury and Rivers was playing in get a Field Goal rather than Touchdown mode.

I am up on my opponent (who is in last place in my league) by 22 points and he still has Alshon left tonight. There is one other 6-6 team left who only needs 5 points from his kicker to beat his opponent (because JuJu had a subpar game) and he has got me in terms of points by 2.4 points for tiebreakers.

Soooooo, I'm really rooting for Alshon Jeffery to get less than 22 points and Jake Elliot to get less than 5 points tonight. If either of those happens then I am going to end the season in 7th place for a third year in a row.

It's going to be a stressful night...

Wouldn't Ware still fill Hunt's role as starter, and West comes in to fill Ware's role as backup?

 

Yeah a couple years ago Ware was the starter and West was his backup before Hunt took over. The real Ware killer would be if CJ Anderson signs which is rumored.

 

I'd imagine he's still given the title of starter, but it appears they're going RBBC now and nobody got time for that come FF playoffs

 

Yeah that's def a possibility. I got lucky enough to land a bye in the league I have him so at least I can see how things progress next week before deciding if he's usable or not.

 

Ware is fine. I'm sure they had no time finding a backup since it happened Wednesday of last week or whatever it was.

 

And if Ware goes down, they have two guys who are absolutely not starters left. West isnt perfect, but he's at least an acceptable fill in for a few quarters.

Might hurt Ware's PPR value, since West was usually the 3rd down/pass back in their combo

 

of course I play the team getting Mccaffrey in that trade lmao my league is scared of me so they are trying to stack everyone else

yeah that trade most certainly should be vetoed, i feel like it is painfully obvious it is collusion.

 

2.68 points was the difference between me getting 2nd place and a first round bye. Now I’m either out of playoffs or the 6th seed.

Just checked my other (lesser) league. Missed 2nd place and a first round bye by 2.60 points.

I fucking hate fantasy football.

At first I thought Russell Wilson was gonna bust this year but he’s actually been so awesome. Dude has not scored less than 18 points in my league since week 4.

He has TRASH receivers and an even worse line, he is barely getting 20 attempts per game, and still 4th in the league in touchdowns and one of the most dangerous deep ball throwers in the league. It’s hard not to be a fan of him.

Almost as impressive as Mahomes looking like he’s gonna break the damn TD record in his first year as a starter

 

Should I take a gamble and start Jaylen Samuels at TE? Or go with someone like Uzomah, Herndon, Everett, Watson?

How'd everyone's regular season go?

Went 9-4 in both of my leagues. Got a first round bye in one of them.

Hoping for good news on Conner this week!

 

9-4 4th place in my friends league, 7-6 5th place in my work league. Both are playoffs.

 

9-4 in my family league (2nd) and 7-6 in my work league (3rd). In playoffs for both.

 

Started 1-2, am currently 10-3 and in first place with the most points in the league. My league still has one more week of regular season although I clinched the No. 1 or 2 spot (there's no byes so doesn't really matter - only 4 teams make playoffs)

 

Wow, Jaylen Samuels is listed as a RB-TE in Yahoo leagues, if Conner goes down, you could plug him in at TE - even though he'll be getting most of the carries and essentially start 4 RBs.

I think I'm putting a claim in on him.

 

I wish Yahoo would let you run waivers on Wednesday night instead of Tuesday night

at least then you get to see what happens at Wednesday practice
