Man I realllllly like this record. I will probably love it when all is said and done based on how much time I have already spent with it and how much I think about listening to it. Two bands that I really didn’t care for have put out two of my favorite records this year (Foxing and The 1975).

“Love It If We Made It” is an all timer.

  7. My 3 year old seems genuinely interested in Matty but it could just be the accent.

Now I’m thinking about all the kids that are going to grow up with the 1975 like we did with our parents music and it’s making me emotional

  9. I grew up on Depeche Mode and this was kind of my thought when I heard “Inside Your Mind” which, if you had told me was a new or lost DM track I’d have believed you.

the band my parents had playing around the house and in the cars the most that I’d say I “grew up with” is matchbox 20. there was a lot of Bruce too

My dad brought me up on Queen. There are many home videos of me dancing to Made in Heaven.

I grew up on The Beatles. Even named after them (John Paul). I honestly didn't even realize there was any other music out there until I was like 9 when Oasis came out with their first album and my Dad got me hooked on them.

Also I'm listening to "I Always Wanna Die" for like the billionth time this weekend. The song is only 2 days old but I get such a nostalgic feel from it, as if it's been a hit for 20 years.
I hope they close their sets with this. I also hope they push it hard as a single.

  20. I love its feel too much. Don't know how familiar people are with him, but this sounds like it could have been a hit at the time in the hands of Robbie Williams.
