True! What are your thoughts on the album versions of the songs vs. the EP versions?

I personally enjoy the bigger production on the album and think it helps The City in particular.

I hated "Chocolate". I don't really care for that album at all. I love this album. Are we cool?

Just listened to "Chocolate" again. Still do not like it. I find Matty's vocals from this era annoying and the music does nothing for me.

Chocolate is the shit. The S/T is still an absolute stunner how every song is a classic on it (for me).

Made a realization and I’m curious. Did you grow up and your parents listened to lots of Phil collins, Huey Lewis, James Taylor or just me? I think my connection with this band comes from lots of nostalgia

I’m using this thread as a stream of consciousness each time I listen to this album. Hope that’s the thread’s intent.

This morning I can’t get enough of the piano in Inside Your Mind. Simple but absolutely beautiful - reminds me of the beginning of Cancer by MCR. Very haunting.

Additionally, perhaps it’s because it is new but this is my favorite The 1975 intro. It’s so jarring and I love it.
