I went to Target today and bought a CD copy of the album. Probably just going to end up giving it to a friend, but I wanted to contribute to first week’s sales in some small way.

 

Didn’t want to burn the singles out so I purposely avoided the videos.

Went to the listening party in Portland tonight and got one of those posters, it's massive!

I’m gonna go ahead and say that there has never been a band that’s meant as much to me as this one does now.

 

its just them and jimmy eat world for me. JEW has the advantage of having been in my life since i was 10 but its close

 

im listening to "chocolate" right now. tbh it was always a foregone conclusion this band was going to be huge

 

People on AP.net and Twitter hated that song like Fall Out Boy wrote it.

These days I enjoy most of the songs from the first album but Chocolate is absolutely not one of them. Thankfully they have only gotten better and better since then

 

First album is great, but it's kinda missing a big swing like If I Believe You, America, or Petrichor

 

“12” on kinda gives you a look at where they were gonna go.
