I hate talking on the phone because I can't do other things

i don't particularly care for talking on the phone but if I have to I'm putting my airpods in so I can do other things (namely, play my video game while I half pay attention)

 

I hate talking on the phone bc i always have to be moving around when i’m talking

 

If we exclude necessary calls because of work, appointments, and 30 second calls to people who don't text, I can probably recall every phone call I've ever made. That is how much I hate talking on the phone.

 

Phone calls with people I like are much better than text

Phone calls with people I don't like/want to talk to are only for urgent matters

 

Speaking of phones my cousins got a landline phone because long story short it was cheaper to get it than not with their new internet / cable plan and they were showing their kids how to use it vs a cell phone and they said “pick it up and listen for a dial tone, that way you know it’s working” and their daughter, 12, asked “what’s a dial tone?” And I thought HOLY FUCK I’M DEAD THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO OLD
