I agree with you 100%. The league should still be competitive top to bottom no matter what. In fact, there's nothing worse than a person at the bottom of his league who is out of it who just stops making roster changes, leaving injured guys in, or not putting in their best line-up because they're out of the playoffs.

My competitive nature would never allow myself to do that, even if I was 1-11 I'd still be looking to put the best possible line-up out there - plus, I've always played in Yahoo (50+ leagues in 11 years) and I like that they keep all-time stats and records and all that stuff. I don't know why, but I pay attention to that stuff.

 

We did this in my friends league a few years ago and I loved it. Even though I never once got the high score, there was obviously always incentive. For whatever reason, we did away with it, but I miss it.

 

I'm officially going Winston over Brady this week.

Assuming Mack is out with a concussion, who should I go with at flex (non PPR):

Edelman
Boyd
Hyde

I'm probably leaning Edelman but Boyd was pretty good last week with Driskel.

Need a flex for a standard scoring league. Tarik Cohen or josh Reynolds? Fantasy pros says 100% of experts would choose Cohen but I think it is a lot closer than that.

I’m so stressed about this week. I have Kamara tonight and my opponent has Thomas.

Matchup of the century. If I win I might get 2nd place and a bye week. If I lose I could fall to 8th place and miss playoffs. Like ???

 

I'm locked in to the #1 or #2 seed and no bye so this game doesn't really matter, i've got some tough matchups for my usual starters so i'm glad to get those out of the way this week

Surprisingly, most of the rankings I’m seeing out there have Lamar Miller above Gronk, Cohen, and Carson. I guess the big run + the matchups?

I’m in the playoffs no matter what but I basically need a win to secure the bye week becesuse the two teams right behind me have cake matchups this week

 

Id go Jackson. Then Johnson and Adams...though Barber and McCoy are about the same as Adams in truth.

Because of that, I'd start the Indy D. If you play Barbey or McCoy, then Id play the WAS D.

 

I've locked up my bye week with my main team, and the playoff berth with the team I took over, and I play my wife this week...creating an interesting scenario. My adopted team plays her older brother, who is a game ahead of her. So if my adopted team wins, and my regular team loses, she's in.

In reality, with her luck, my main team will beat her by 30+ points.

 

Marlon Mack returned to practice today, so that's a good sign.

The weather report is looking iffy for Sunday in NE and it is a tough matchup

 

I just have a hard time trusting Dak. I think I would stick with Brady
