Here’s some real life shady shit:

Power in my entire apartment building went out a few minutes ago, along with the buildings on both side of me and across the street. Almost immediately like 5 SWAT trucks pull up and a bunch of folks jump out of the back and are swarming the building.

I called the electric company to report the outage and the woman goes, “ummm, there is no outage to report at this time, you must have the incorrect address. I’m sure it will be fixed shortly” and basically badgers me off the phone.

The cops cut the damn power to like 3 city blocks to come arrest some guy. Didn’t know they had that power, shit.

Moneyball was really good. enjoyed it a lot. didn't know it took place in "current times", i thought it was based in like, the 80's or 90's. i was amazed that it was a little over two hours. went by fast for nothing really happening. also fascinating to learn about the 20 game win streak. and Chris Pratt! holy shit. didn't know he was in this.

very curious what the actual players feel about the book / movie. no one was portrayed as a bad person (although maybe Jimmy Giambi or whatever his name is (the brother, not Jason)) but it was very much an inside look to how GM's work and whatnot which was fascinating to see imo.

probably gonna watch it again later this week.
