I have a Literature for Adolescents class that pretty much just focuses on what/how to teach literature to kids and tonight we had two guest teachers come in and speak and one of them was Kendrick Lamar’s high school English/poetry teacher so that was kinda cool

Last weekend, we had a state election in Victoria. The labor party won over the (incorrectly named) fascist liberal party, in spades. I’ve lived in this city my entire life and I believe we have the right leader in place. This is fantastic and so needed. I really fucking struggled in high school, as did a lot of my friends. Helpful therapists played a huge part in me still being alive today. I’m really emotional right now, almost in disbelief that we have a leader doing this
