I also prefer turkey sandwiches to ham or roast beef. Unless it's like the amazing Boar's head spiced roast beef but even then I'd want to add turkey to that sandwich so it's not all brown rich meat

Crawfish are spectacular and my brain is missing the part that tells me to stop eating

 

So, I turn 30 on Friday and on Sunday my Mom is cooking me crabs and spaghetti for my birthday dinner.

 

I could eat oysters forever. There's a place in Charlotte called Sea Level that I go to frequently for oysters.

 

Guys I had a Filet Mignon at this wedding this past summer that was so freaking good. I can still taste it months later.

Honestly now that I work at Chart House I don't really care about lobster. Same thing as @spiffa0 said regarding steak - diminishing returns on the amount you spend.

To be honest, if you eat lobster once in awhile you trick yourself into thinking it's this exquisite meat, but literally compare lobster to shrimp the next time you go to a seafood restaurant. Bigger shrimp (like 16-20 per-pound or larger) literally gives you almost the exact same flavor for way cheaper price by weight.

 

I’ll drive down to Galveston occasionally and get fresh shrimp right off the pier for about 2 lbs for 7 dollars

Oysters are so hit or miss, you gotta get a cooler of clean ones and shuck 'em yourself imo. I don't get what the big deal is about eating them steamed or grilled that just takes away that "delicious fresh seafood" flavor that makes me like them in the first place.

I'm just saying I'm spending 9.95 on six grilled shrimp at Chart House before i EVER spend 43 for the lobster tail (or 30 for the smaller add-on tail)

Obviously I don't tell my customers that lol

 

I like crab a lot so like 1-3 is really 1a 1b and 1c but I just can't put it above lobster or crawfish

I LOVE scallops, if we're including em they're over shrimp for sure

 

I love lobster but I only eat it when someone else offers to pay for it.

 

Fried scallops are bomb.

 

There's a pretty good lobster place that's like $20 in DFW

Ate in Maine for like $25 for excellent lobster and could've definitely gone cheaper

It really isn't that bad as long as you don't go to the Chart Houses of the world (no offense of course @Randall Mentzos I'm sure y'all have amazing food)

Sea Level has a vinegar based sauce for they’re oysters and it’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted.

 

Mackerel is amazing.

 

I'm almost done with my accounting homework and I haven't learned anything

 

Haven’t seen salmon mentioned

Fresh salmon is amazing, it’s one thing I pay extra for at the grocery store

 

Catfish and flounder are two other staples

 

Been spoiled on salmon, but it's very good
