AFC offensive player of the week should have been Fournette because I thought he was very offensive

 

Yikes, most of that third tier should be the second tier.

 

Some of the second tier should be in the third tier too

I gave Prescott/Watson/Wentz leeway for sample size before moving em up/down. For some reason I didn't do the same for Goff which was a massive mistake. Mahomes needs no sample size though.

 

I think Mahomes needs sample size, I think we should also see what he does next year. I mean Wentz isn't near what he was last year.

Look I like Mahomes, I think he's great. But I think the notation we need to see how he backs it up next year is only fair. People did it with Wentz and Watson.

I think it's a combination of things to be honest.

 

Mahomes has looked as elite as it comes, but it's tough to see how much of it is him or the 3 All Pro playmakers around him.

Still, he has to make all the throws, so I'd comfortably say he's already a top ten QB.

 

Man, I love football. Best sport to watch, best sport to dissect, best time of the year.

 

Garbage tiering

 

True but a lot of us didn’t trust Watson as a QB prospect at the time. What he did his first few weeks as a Texan kind of shocked the whole NFL.

A lot of people were saying it just wasn’t a QB year. Trubisky was liked by some and disliked by others, lot of us thought pick 2 was a reach, and Chicago loved him and Cleveland wasn’t giving up Garrett for ANYTHING.... so trading up wasn’t an option.

People felt Watson understandably fell to pick 12 because of his poor pocket mechanics and limited exposure to NFL concepts in that Clemson offense.

Definitely hindsight. We needed a QB but no one thought he was the guy that would save our team. Only after he erupted onto the scene in the NFL did we realize the Jags may have passed on the right solution.

Mahomes, as @CarpetElf said, is scheme specific and wouldn’t be as good with us. Though, he absolutely would if that Texas Tech coach became our OC ahaha.

Remember when Fournette had like 90 yards in the first half against the Steelers and then didn't really touch the ball in the second half
