I can relate to wanting to hear good music instead of wasting it on bad music. I had to listen to 5 Hawthorne Heights albums!

 

I fulfilled our last trade when I had to listen to music for you. I even did a review. You could at least TRY to fulfil your side of this bet like you said you would.


Also calling it bad music is completely subjective and uncalled for ;)

6 albums 3 EPs. And the band gets way more hate than they should just because ‘it’s cool to hate’

Andrew McMahon, yes, spun Upside Down Flowers all evening for a house party we hosted this last weekend! It definitely set a nice environment, Every Must Go or Paper Rain were probably my favorites. As for the other projects and albums, not enough time lately but they're on the backburner. Thank you for recommending him!

Oh, yeah. He was actually pretty good in it, best job he's done in probably 10 years. Doesn't change the fact that he's bad IRL though.

 

I used to crack on Hawthorne Heights just because, but I did give all their albums a listen for that bracket. Not bad at all. I doubt I'll ever go back to a full album, but I have a pretty sweet playlist made.

 

Here is the thing... I’ve listened to maybe half their discography now.. i just don’t dig them. I’m just not into that particular type of of music really.

 

The only album of theirs that I connected with was IOYWL. That album meant a lot to me in high school. To be honest, some of it is still good, but some of it also has not aged well at all in my opinion. It is a very mid 2000's record at times.

Idk why Kevo kept recommending multiple albums of theirs to me when I didn’t like any of them!

That’s fine! Not every band is for everyone. There’s bands I don’t connect with. This is better than just simply calling something ‘bad music’.
