Listening to Sleep in prep for Friday. Been a good while since i just sat down and listened to this album; still so very enjoyable. I forgot how much i loved the bridge of She's American.

lol my first listen was on a half square, it was maybe a little too emotional haha

 

i watched the o2 concert straight after watching a moderat live show on youtube about 4 hours in my last trip and was just so entranced, can't wait to do it to inquiry.

I will absolutely fail but I think I'll skip all singles for the next album. It feels like I've had half of this album for a year lol

 

I feel like I’m out of the loop with everyone else on here. This is up there with my favorite albums of the year, but none of the other albums you all listed are all that exciting to me. I really liked Middle Kids and Real Friends though lol

 

it’s almost like different people like different albums?

 

At first this album sounded like a sonic mess because it was all over the place. Now it sounds perfect, love the contrast in sounds used, and the loud to soft dynamics. Prime example is "inside your mind" to "it's not living"

 

Also "inside your mind" is probably my favourite song of theirs.

 

If I was to make a list I might put foxing at the top, which feels wrong. I usually just make a non-ordered list because albums are situational to me so ranking doesn't always make sense

 

I wasn’t trying to be negative. Just saying people seem to love a set of albums that I’m not familiar with or aren’t all that exciting to me and I feel at of the loop.

 

It's actually cold out (for Florida standards) and I started the fire pit in the backyard and can say this is definitely fire pit music.

 

haha I Like America really went over my head tbh it was just too bombastic at the time, now I love it. Everything past Inside Your Mind was jaw dropping though. Should of worn headphones...

 

I've had this for one day and it's already easily my aoty. Nothing's really blown me away this year though.
