On a serious note - in another 1975 forum discussing and this photo below was shared. We should all be truly happy and thankful that Matty has found sobriety and his health. Compare this picture to the Matt we just saw in the Sincerity video and it's night and day. Good for him.

Yeah, IMO they completely missed the mark with this one. I get that the concept is sad but the execution is very blunt. With my very limited knowledge of logic I made a version where he was a lot quieter but it doesnt sound great.

Also wtf, Matty's style has always been on point

I fully agree, the execution is horrendous. The narrative thread is delivered with as much grace as being beaten over the head with a pillowcase of door knobs

 

There’s an expectation that any art that you put out into the world is going to be discussed but what you decide to wear, style your hair, tattoos etc shouldn’t have that same expectation.
