Some people have overrated Romo now that he retired by saying stuff like "if they started Romo in 2016 in the playoffs they would have won the Super Bowl" which I don't believe. That absolutely does get annoying.

But while he was playing, he was extremely underrated and unfairly criticized.

Romo was never a QB that scared me when he was on the schedule. Always felt like he was really easy to defend.

 

I didn't know this, but now that I do I think of Rodgers a little differently.

 

Weddle was so good he could’ve been DPOY one year if I remember right

 

Patriots only played Romo twice and he was 1-1 against em, with the one loss for Romo being the 2007 undefeated Pats

Hey remember when the Texans signed fucking Ed Reed and then we signed that one Broncos safety who cost them a Super Bowl appearance

 

We're 0-2 against the Patriots with Romo, but one was in their undefeated season and the other was in a season they went to the Super Bowl. Plus they have the GOAT qb and GOAT coach who is a defensive mastermind, so those two losses mean nothing to how great Romo was.
