oh i think he should definitely run, or get a VP slot, or go for the other senate seat in 2020, he just hasnt revealed any plans to do any of those yet so....i think we can chill on the thinkpieces for a second lol

  4. The Ryan Cooper tweet wasn't even saying he shouldn't run or whatever. "if centrists are trying to reassure the left that Beto is not a glib facade over the same neoliberal foreclosure factory politics as Obama, this piece has the opposite effect"

That's true, about the piece. If that's your presidential candidate....okay. But personally, I would move away from the political status quo that immediately produced Trump. If that's not accurate about Beto...blame Crooked media, because that's a fair interpretation of their piece

I just wish we devoted the energy to stuff that matters like climate change instead of ten more op eds about nothing

Beto ran on policies that could win in texas. running nationally I think he'd be more like a national progressive running on things like healthcare, minimum wage and green jobs.

I grew up right near that area. The Lordstown plant basically became the lifeblood around there for workers who lost their jobs after the steel plants closed. Trump campaigned in Lordstown/Youngstown that he would bring all those jobs back. Really wonder if that will have any effect in 2020.
