Yep, the Saints have an elite LT and maybe the best single skill position weapon in the game...both because of the 49ers.

 

Yeah, he was god awful in 2017, but they also moved him positionally (real question is why at #3 you take an inside player and convert him to an EDGE...). Makes me wonder if the 49ers are becoming the new Browns...stock piling draft picks and then whiffing on them.

Because in that same time frame, the Browns took Garrett, Peppers, Mayfield, and the pick that became Denzel Ward just by trading out of the Watson pick and keeping their #1's. For the normal Browns, that would be 3 busts and 1 ok starter...not what appears to be all solid starters.

Atlanta is v cool. Aquarium is a must-see if you haven’t been. I just rode the MARTA train to Doraville yesterday from the airport (if that is the suburb you are talking about), and it didn’t look like there was a whole lot to do there. I live about 30 minutes away from Atlanta and want to try to get there more often. Went to a pretty good Irish bar a few years ago when I was visiting to see Green Day/Against Me!

 

There is also a very good Civil Rights museum here

This is classic Cincinatti. Take the cheapest path rather than take a big risk.

Think of all the coordinators they've let walk while Marvin was coach...Zimmer, Joseph, Hue, Gruden...all guys that would have made perfect sense to replace Lewis 5 years ago. And then making him management and getting Hue for dirt cheap (because he has 0 credibility now) continues that nicely.

Its a recipe for being good if you draft well...but its been 30 years since the Bengals have been a credible SB contender for a reason.

 

They had an opportunity to let him go last year but they won a bunch of meaningless games so it gave them an excuse to be cheap and keep him. They're an awful, toxic organization that will be stuck in .500 purgatory forever because no one wants to work for them unless it's their last shot in the NFL. Hue makes perfect sense to be their next coach when taking that into account. They're probably looking at a relocation situation in a few years because the city is fed up with the same shit and isn't coming to games anymore.
