I would like to also credit the 1975 for getting me out of just enjoying one type of music. I know for a fact I used to complain on the last album cycle about them using programmed beats where now I could care less.

 

Yeah I spent a lot time feeling bad about enjoying things that some people thought were “strange” or not like “me”

Now I comfortably enjoy my annoying pop music and shows like Riverdale hahaha

 

I think Love Me changed me a little in that respect. It just being so out there.

Anyways, when it comes to pop music, I'll always remember being a big Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato stan when they were still on Disney Channel. That first "Selena Gomez and the Scene" album is still such a jam.

I didn't know I needed that Carly Sleigh Jepsen sweater. I'm already working out the budget to have that sweater by the time I visit family for the holidays.

 

A buddy of mine works at the studio that they are doing Notes in and the band left him their rowing machine. So now he has The 1975’s rowing machine.

 

They helped write and performed on Demi Lovato's first album, which is a super fun pop rock album.

 

Remember being so hyped when Demi called Maylene and the Sons of Disaster her favorite band, lol.
