This has to be at least the 20th time I’ve heard of a store putting out CDs too early. It’s not the uncommon.

I don't even think the band has heard Notes yet lmao

 

Apparently they’ve only demoed Notes and now it’s coming out in August.

 

Honestly would not mind if notes came out nov 29 2019. This cycle will be a lot.

So much hype.

 

Incredibly excited for this album to come out. It drops right after my sales exam, so I have created a day of no studying to enjoy fully. I like the idea of Notes coming out, but unfortunately there seem to be several delays on the band's end, given past release cycles. They tend to suggest (or state) that new music will drop on certain days/be ready at a certain time, and then it doesn't end up happening. I have kind of resigned myself to holding off on hype until preorders launch. Worth it though, because I always feel confident that the release will be something special.

 

Honestly Notes could come out 3 years from now and I wouldn’t mind. My biggest fear is that it comes off as a B side album. Take as long as you need and keep this hot streak going.

 

Yeah, if this album lives up to my expectations there's no rush for Notes imo... they should take as long as they need.

 

Be My Mistake sounds like Damien Rice.

I think they have a snippet in the CoS podcast

 

Yeah, it’s in the Consequence of Sound podcast. The whole episode is a review of the record! The reviewer gets really wrapped up in global issues for far too long when discussing LIIWMI, but the rest of the episode was enjoyable. The Be My Mistake snippet is so dope.

 

Really thought I'd wake up to this having leaked. Pleasantly surprised.

Yeah I haven't heard it either. Read the comments. Lots of the usual dramatic DEAD OMG comments hahaha. But what I did garner was that everyone was annoyed because someone speaks over it. Don't want my first experience of the song to be that. If it leaks properly I'll give it a listen, because I've got three editions of this on order, and it's not like I'd be going around mass-sharing the leak anyway. But until then I'm avoiding all the little clips and reviews.
