So the Jags are gonna play the Falcons in Atlanta next year... and I don’t know why, but I have an urge to plan on spending that weekend in Atlanta. I have an aunt from there I met at my dad’s wedding, and a few acquaintances who lived there from Jax, that I could visit.

I’ve driven through it 3 times now but never been anywhere other than the Airport and a suburb called Dorville when I was 11 (and I’ve also played a show in Acworth, that’s as close as I got.)

It’s just a fuckin crazy looking city when you drive through it on I-75. Ive spent time in urban Philly, New York, Boston, Baltimore, DC, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Tampa, Orlando... Atlanta’s really the last “major city” on the east coast for me to see. I can’t quell my curiosity, I just have to go.

 

Well, just drive to it from a city that isnt Jax haha
