I don’t think anyone was claiming it’s absurdly special and I certainly wasn’t. But even if you move the three year period around and players like Cam or Bell are the other players that fit in, it’s at the very least a great stat to have two players on your team qualify for.

Romo and Bortles both have the same amount of playoff wins, so even then it’s wrong. Plus he’s not on the team anymore, so even more irrelevant.

 

Blake Bortles has won more playoff games than Matthew Stafford, Derek Carr, and Jimmy G put together.

 

Fair. But like, maybe you weren’t trying to make them sound like world beaters... that’s the context of the tweet, though. You wouldn’t say “they are the ONLY players in the NFL _____” unless you were trying to make them sound better than everyone else.

Zeke is an elite, top 3 runningback for sure. Dak is one of those uncommon QB who actually runs like a runningback. Credit where it’s due for sure. I just didn’t like the tone of the tweet haha, especially becuase Dak still doesn’t hold a candle to the best running QBs in the league

 

Put Jimmy G and Kyle Shanahan on the Jags roster. They’ll get playoff wins.

I’m honestly so bummed Jimmy’s been hurt. Was really looking forward to seeing how the league responds to him and whether he could continue to carry a bad team

 

I can understand all of that. Just thought it was a fun stat to post and people responded how I figured they would. 99% positive other fans talk about the Cowboys history or rings or whatever more than I or any other fan I know personally does.

Trust me, we hate our own team more than anyone else does BECAUSE they’ve wasted 5-10 incredible players careers in the last 20 or so years.

 

I’m not even a Cowboys hater. I was born in Abilene Texas (military dad, moved a lot and then moved to Florida as a toddler). Jags weren’t a team until I was 5, my dad loved the Cowboys and always hyped me up about Emmitt Smith and Deion Sanders. Those are my earliest memories of football weirdly enough.

I hate Jerry Jones but I can’t lie, Jaylon Smith / Byron Jones / DeMarcus Lawrence have been fun to watch this year. I can get into any team that plays good defense. And I also am legit a Tony Romo fan, both as a player and an announcer.

 

I got DLaw on my fantasy team and I am a huge Dak fan. Huge haha

 

Romo is my favorite player of all time. Ware at least got a ring elsewhere and Witten is a top five TE of all time, so they’ll get their HoF dues eventually. I’m so sad Romo almost assuredly won’t get his.

Idk. All I know is how pissed i am that Ridley fumbled a would be TD on the 1 yard line and Golladay dropped a go-ahead 10 yard TD at the end of the game.

My fantasy team would have literally scored 15 more points on those two plays alone, if they held on to the ball.
