Genuinely more excited about this than any other movies this year. I can't wait to see this a million times.

Having just beat the PS4 game and invested in the Spider-Man world, I'm super hyped for this too.

I'm curious which will be a better story, the game nailed the characters better than I've seen anywhere else, but to be fair they had 20 hours of story to world build.

interesting point: there really isnt a huge 'main' holiday movie this year, this could become a huge hit. Aquaman and Bumblebee are like the "biggest" "franchise tentpoles" coming out the week after and neither of those look like sure things.

I’m guessing this film will make around $300 million domestically since Aquaman and Bumblebee are following it the next week. It may open small ($60 mil I’m guessing), but films usually have good legs around Christmas.

I can’t find the budget for this film but it’s Spider-Man, animated and being released near Christmas. It should be a big hit.

Lord and Miller need a hit after the Solo debacle.

300 million domestic would be insane - I don't see that happening even with holiday legs. 60 million would be obliterating all projections for this movie.

I hope this movie performs as well as you suggest cause it is gonna be stellar

I assumed this wouldn't be nearby, but I got a pass for two at a theater just 45 min away. Dec 1. That's 10 days away. Holy crap. Shout out to @Serh who tagged me on Twitter & called my attention to this.

ah shit sorry dude, I almost got two tickets but it said they'd only let you in everyone turned up and I didn't want to risk being stood up by friends so just got the one.

hopefully something works out for you

Oh shit, I might be seeing this on the 8th! Possibly good karma for helping out @Tim, who obviously loves these characters more than I do

    I do not exist.

I got married in 2016 and since then my wife has moved from having no interest in superhero films whatsoever to the point where she loved Infinity War more than I could have ever imagined... I was genuinely shocked how much she enjoyed it. It's a step by step process. As such, I'm trying to figure out if an animated film is one step to far or if I can convince her to come and see this, haha! I'll happily go by myself if not.

this is not even in the same category but the teen titans go to the movies is legit a good superhero animated movie. I had so much fun watching it.

TTGTTM rules and is easily the best superhero movie of the year. So many great jokes.
