    Great Googly Moogly Supporter

Definitely a fair trade. Great but injury prone number 2 pitcher for a prospect that projects tri be a #3 guy.

He's definitely not a 1/2, he's rated as the 96th ranked prospect in most prospect rankings. He's 5'10 and has command issues, he could really go either way. It's fine, now give us more trades you goddamn gms.

    music and baseball.

i tend to not trust prospects with plus fatball, plus breaking, and a 'developing changeup' as top rotation guys

im more upset at Seattle prolonging their rebuild

In two years they'll have Severino (2 yrs til FA at that point) and likely Corbin left (can't imagine they let anybody else sign him at this point) hope Montgomery comes back strong and one of Loaisiga/German/Adams becomes a dependable starter

    is this a dream? ✫・゜

I hate that people keep helping the Yankees, I'm a Jays fan and although we are in a rebuild and won't do shit next year, it still kills me.

Beltre was a gift to the game. I'm going to miss his antics so much and I can't wait for someone to put together a compilation

Also, Bartolo Colon stands alone as the last remaining player from the 20th century

I think 22 a year the next two and like a 3 mil buyout or something. Cause he has an 8th year team option for some godforsaken reason

At least they reset their tax so I really don't think they'll let it affect what they spend

Hopefully as soon as he's healthy and not covered by insurance they Sandoval his ass. He really can't take up a roster spot lol

I assume if they bought him out it would count against their cap so they wouldn't do that

Well I don't think they would have an option right? Ellsbury won't let them trade him. When they declined Gardner's option this offseason they had to pay him 2 million whether he had a new contract or not. Idk I don't understand everything business-wise lol

Yea, it is kinda weird. Essentially the player has to agree to play there, in exchange he gets paid more and stuff. Definitely makes you cringe a little but it's more or less a salary trade.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Well as long as the player has to agree. Still just so odd that you're a major leaguer (and I think one of the better rookies to start last year) and you can get sent to Japan lol

The only thing that's logical is that no team wanted him and they didn't want to buy him out
