    I didn't even see the original DP2 yet so I'll be sure to check this out.

    That being said, I'm surprised that no one has ever made a holiday themed superhero movie before. I know there have been shows (both live-action, and animated) that have had special episodes (sometimes multiple) where they have the heroes celebrating either Christmas, Halloween, Valentines day, or even Thanksgiving. I just think it would be nice to have some superhero/comic films do that, just for more variety in the genre.

    Iron Man 3 definitely counts. And, so does Batman Returns.

    But, I would love a full blown, unironic, saccharine superhero Christmas movie someday.
