The best part about these two crappy singles is that my expectations for the record are now tempered. So, I'm bound to get some enjoyment from this thing.

Eric Palmquist should produce Blink's next record. He should produce everybody's next record.

John Feldmann, imo, is weighing blink down. I hope they choose another producer for their next record. I wouldnt mind Mark Trombino again.

  13. Feldmann is a better pop punk producer. It's not close. Not even remotely a good idea.

  14. This is painful. Just painful.

oh yea, cause songs like Love is Dangerous TOTALLY didn't weigh blink down.

"Rabbit Hole" sounds too much like blink. blink is the last thing that I want blink to sound like.

There's a "time to get turnt" section of spotify and for some reason there's a spotify curated "this is blink-182" playlist in that section and I am both confused and amused.

I've been trying to do some detective work regarding the Japan bonus track "Hey I'm Sorry". Going back to the Amazon page, I found out "収録時間" means "duration". Since it says 47 minutes and the worldwide version of the record goes on for 42m and a half, that should mean the length of the track is around 4:30, which bodes well for a proper closing song.

Also found this other link: California blink-182 CD Album

    Edit/Update: "Hey I'm Sorry" lasts 3:57 (Full length is 46:33) - blink-182/カリフォルニア(CD) ぐるぐる王国2号館 ヤフー店 - Yahoo!ショッピング - Tポイントが貯まる!使える!ネット通販

I don't know a ton about producing but didn't trombino over produce, like, all the 2002 drive thru records albums? Is he responsible for Say it Like You Mean It sounding way worse than their prior EP? I should just google this.

Edit: I'm not sure if he is to blame, but I don't like the sound of Living Well, What it is to Burn, and Say it Like You Mean It. Which are 3 records he produced.

What do you think of Zack's response: "Good song. Not sure a good blink song"?

I love all the new stuff I've heard. Rabbit Hole instrumentation reminds me of New Found Glory. Anyone else get this vibe?

Listening to TOYPaJ for the first time in a while. Aside from First Date and The Rock Show, I'm still fond of this record. "Story of a Lonely Guy" foreshadowed a bit of what was to come for Tom, musically.
