Less Than Jake just posted a date for Feb 22 at Starland Ballroom. I don't see anything else up yet about a tour.

They announced on their page too, clarified that its not part of a tour, just "a few shows"

Thrice fans will hate on that tour obviously but that tour could be very good for getting them new fans

Yeah, they’re gonna be playing in front of some huge crowds. That’s rad

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

seems similar to when they opened for Rise Against/Deftones, although that type of fan is probably vastly different compared to BMTH fans

I thought they put on a very boring set when they opened for Rise Against/Deftones. I foresee the same at the BMTH show, especially following FEVER 333

thrice opening 100% benefits both parties. shows that BMTH does have cred when it comes to that world/know who the best in that lane is, and thrice will get to play for younger fans who aren't aware of them and they'll get to show they can write catchy/heavy stuff

i am genuinely curious what the average BMTH fan in 2019's reaction to like, deadbolt would be

A Returners 10 year tour would be the perfect comeback.

Eh, Tyler Carter solo tour seems too short to say they've put the nail in the coffin. They've been working in the album still as far as I know. I'd guess a spring/summer release with a EU/UK tour in the summer and a fall one in the states.

Issues just completed their new album, so they're still moving forward.

yeah, i think kicking the screamer out was the right move for issues. curious as to what the new one will sound like

Their guitarist Aj is a great screamer, so I hope the new album has at least some unclean vocals.

it was the right move but the new album is going to suck bc it's being produced by Howard Benson

I was going to disagree but I'm looking at the list of shit he's done since 04-06 and goddamn is it gross

I was mostly commenting on the rock stuff that would be relevant for issues, his pop stuff was still good for a couple years after that but I think even that peters out around 2011. Any hope I had for pairing Issues with the guy that did Three Cheers is pretty well tanked by learning he did both of the most recent Escape the Fate albums.
