Yeah it's actually weird we havent even heard as much as a drum roll yet. By the looks of Mark's instagram post they are pretty far ahead with the record, but i could be looking to much into it haha.

 

I am ready for this to start! The hype up to California in this thread was so much fun

 

I think they'd taking their time this time around vs the whole first thought best thought approach.

 

I mean they have been working on this since mid 2017, they’ve already spent more time than they did on Cali

 

Parking Lot would be good if Skiba sang both verses and they cut out the bridge.

 

If they release it in January, i’ll be less sad about turning 30. At least then i’ll have some new blink to listen to while waiting on that new hip.

 

Even if he doesn't write on any album, I think he forces bands to put the credits as a writer.

Based on what we know of his production style I think it deserves songwriting credit. Even just telling the artist to change a certain part can get you songwriting credit.

 

There's no way "forces" applies with blink, it's laughable to me how people think Feldmann just pushes these guys around

If he so much as suggested a word change in a line, I mean he technically wrote on it. I couldn't care less if he's credited. Easy Target wouldn't exist without Jerry Finn, guarantee he had a big hand in writing on that one.

 

Long ago I checked like 5-7 albums he produced. Everywhere he was mentioned as a writer.
And I was reading that it's usually one of his contract conditions.

 

IMHO, it's producers business as usual.

 

More producers should get songwriting credit and be compensated for that they do. So many have been getting fucked for years out of royalties they deserve.

 

It’s almost like a lot of producers helped song write in the past on albums people swear the bands wrote 100% themselves and just didn’t get song writing credits.

Mark is making fun of everyone.
But to have the credits on the Neighbourhoods album - I bet you can forgive him all the small pranks
