Any good Cyber Monday deals anywhere for vinyl? I didn't really see anything on Amazon. SRC Vinyl has 20% on orders more than $100.

Black Friday 2018: Deal Thread

 

I’m in the market for a new turntable. Looking at Audio Technica but U-Turn has caught my eye as well. Anyone have any experience with them? I want something that’s an upgrade over my Ion Profile but nothing absurdly expensive.

 

Pro-Ject Debut Carbon is what I own and no regrets. Has been great for last 6 years. The stock cartridge is great too

 

i love my U Turn! the only flaw with it is it's kind of a pain to keep the lid up. they need a kickstand or something for that thing.

 

I am in love with my U-Turn custom. I've had it for a little over a year now and I am super happy with it. I went with the following specifications in case you're curious:

Built-in preamp, Cue lever, Acrylic platter, Ortofon OM 5E

Only inconvenience is changing the belt when switching from 33 to 45 RPMs. I find that the belt always falls off when I try to switch back.

 

Yeah the belt is my only complaint with my U-Turn. I love it

 

Debut Carbon if youre able to afford it.

 

VMP got a reissue of Tha Carter III and Tha Carter II.

 

also my favorite muddy waters album. im leaning towards swapping for that but im gonna give the mavis album a go tomorrow

 

Unfortunately I’m suckered into all 3. I love the classics sub. I still don’t have that Carla Thomas so I’m gonna sub out Mavis and grab her later.
