I'm going to the last show tonight. I'm bummed that they're not doing the acoustic part of the show anymore...I really wanted to see that :(

  3. Just had a random flashback to when the Feeling This 7” came out I drove all the way to Hollywood to get it then drove all the way back home to Westchester (by the LAX airport) to listen to Violence. Crazy to think that was over 15 years ago. I couldn’t believe my ears. I was snapping my fingers for weeks. The guitars sounded so fucking rad. I think that’s the last time I was blown away by my all time favorite band. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. Weird flex but okay.

i remember when TOYPAJ came out, my older sister's boyfriend promised he'd buy it + bring it over for me, which he did, but he opened it and listened to it in the car on his way over which really bummed me out at the time because i didn't get to tear it open myself lol

Apparently mark said tonight that Feldmann made them sing all the whoas and nana's on California, so Feldmann came on stage and sang the nana's on parking lot. Trolololol.

Mark has joked about this a few times now. I wonder if this means "Okay guys i think we overdid it with the nana's let's tone it down on the next record" or "screw it its our music we can do as many nana's as we want"

  12. All of that is fine in the end. I just don’t want John to WRITE on the next record. Let blink be blink. Thanks.

  14. Same. I just don’t want it. At all. Never cared for goldfinger beyond the THPS song and even that I had no idea it was GF at the time. It was just the THPS song to me and my friends.

    Things have changed.

Feldmann writes on virtually every album he produces. People understand that going in to work with him.

Parking Lot is fine. Much like almost all of the CA era, it’s fine. It was a welcomed return after the tragedy of Neighborhoods.

If the next album is more of the same, the band will be lesser in my mind.

And a lot of people hate him for it. But it's ultimately the band that says what goes on the record and what doesn't (atleast for big boy bands like blink that arent controlled by their lable). Any hate for Feldmann should be directed to Mark and Travis, Feldmann just does what he's hired to do.

Now I'm not over excited about Feldmanns input on Cali, but i think he was good for Mark's writers block, and he made him write bridges again. Im gonna give the blink-feldy collab another chance with the next record.

Oh and sorry for possibly starting yet another Feldmann discussion.

I'm ready for some studio clips and whatnot. I don't ever want to hear TOO much but it was cool recognizing some of the Travis drum clips when the album came out

Yeah and it was cool to hear that "Whats the point of saying sorry now" was the chorus in cynical.
