Valencia to Release New Song Tomorrow

So excited for this. Interested to hear what direction 2018 Valencia will take.

It’s good. I don’t want to hype it. But it’s fun and energetic. Not the most original, but meh.

 

Wow I was not expecting that at all... I saw their Goodbye for Now show, saw the first reunion show 2 years ago, & will be seeing the WANARTB show in a month. I hate Valencia

 

Yessssssssssssssss. Been on a Valencia kick lately. Looking at possibly traveling to Philadelphia at the end of the year to see them.

 

Yes! Hopefully this leads to more. This was the band I think I was most upset about that quit making music.

They've left a hole in my heart since they broke up. This is great

 

They're easily one of my top 5 pop punk bands ever. I really hope the new song is better than the stuff Shane has put out since the breakup, though. I love the dude but nothing he's done since has stuck with me like the Valencia albums.

Is it just me or is the song underwhelming and generic as fuck? First two listens didn't do anything for me.

 

It didn't do anything for me. Vocals are way too low in the mix imo.

100%. No idea why that was the choice made.

 

I feel like this is allllmost there. Don't love it, but it gives me confidence that if they were to sit down and record a new album, it'd be solid. Who knows if that will ever happen, but it'd be cool.

Totally agree with everyone else about the vocals being too low in the mix, too.

 

Not feeling it either unfortunately.
