Alonso should not be a Pro Bowler

he makes a lot of highlight reel plays but on the 95% of plays he doesnt, he is lost

 

Tackle as a standalone stat is maybe the most useless stat tbh.

 

LVE also broke a Cowboys record for having 19 tackles in a game, most in a single game by any player in franchise history.

Tough choice in fantasy for me this week:

Ryan v Dallas in Atlanta
Rodgers v Seattle in Seattle

I think Rodgers is more talented but Ryan has been better than him in fantasy all year. I don't think either is wrong, I just know whoever I pick will have a bad game and the other will throw 5 TDs.

 

Drop both and start Lamar Jackson

This is obviously a biased article, but if you read it, there are a lot of stats and information here to show that LVE is the best rookie linebacker and one of the best in the league already:

- More tackles than Smith and Warner even though he's played 73 and 252 snaps less than them, respectively (Leonard has 8 more tackles but has played 147 more snaps than LVE)
- Has allowed substantially less yards per reception than any of them
- Has the only interception out of them
- Sidenote: He allows 4.11 YAC per reception in coverage while Kuechly and Wagner allows 4.38 and 5.52 YAC respectively

I know I post about him a lot, but the dude is already a game changing LB and looks to be even better than Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith.

Love this man.

 

Yeah, you gotta watch the film to even see whether it’s a good tackle or a bad one. “Stops” are a much more useful statistic cause it measures how quickly you diagnosed the play and got there for the tackle

tbh assisted tackles tell more than solo for a linebacker. Solo is expected. The play is coming AT you most of the time. Assisted tackles mean you're catching up with the play and getting in there. generally speaking

Sure, I'd love to trust them, but we're on the road again and Ryan has been the much better fantasy QB this year.
