Yeah this lol everyone just refers to the surrounding cities as Denver if you're not from here, to people outside of this state we only have 4 cities lol- Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins

Yeah, Golden is to Denver what like, Fairfax or College Park are to "DC". If people asked where you are from, you'd say DC...if they know the area, you'd tell them the reality. Any good city is like that; and its funny that really only like NYC and LA are widely known that way

I live in Dallas and my street address is Dallas, TX but if I drive 1 mile in literally any direction I'm no longer in Dallas street addresses, however I am 30 minutes from Dallas

I mean there’s nothing culturally relevant about Fairfax or College Park, I feel like when I lived there I still considered myself basically as someone who lives in the Washington DC area even though I never lived inside the district

I went to DC whenever I wanted to have a night out, so I mean that still felt like my stomping ground. I only stayed in CP if I was staying at home.

Seen so many amazing shows at 930 club. And I’ve also seen metro prices double in the time that I lived there, fuckin bullshit how much they charge for subway rides now
